Privacy Policy

codinganyway is designed to put your privacy first. The data you enter in our apps is never sent to the operator (codinganyway). This page explains how that works, and the exceptions that come with running a site (advertising and analytics).

1. Scope

This policy applies to codinganyway.com and all apps served on its subdomains.

2. Data you enter in the apps is not sent to the operator

The apps we publish today have no server. Whatever you create or enter in an app, and your settings, are stored only in your browser on your device (localStorage and similar). Nothing is uploaded automatically to any server, including ours, and by design there's no way for us to see that content.

That said, when you explicitly choose to send data out — as below — it leaves your device to that extent. None of this goes "to the operator," but whoever or whatever you send it to can see the contents, so choose your recipients and destinations yourself.

Creating a share URL — your data is embedded in the URL. Anyone who has that URL can open the contents.
Exporting an image or file — written out to your device; where it goes afterward is up to you.
External cloud integration (if offered in the future) — saves only to a cloud you've explicitly authorized (e.g. Google Drive).

In every case the destination is the recipient or service you chose, not the operator (codinganyway). Note that clearing your browser data removes anything saved on your device.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense)

Some pages on this site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to show ads, and may serve them based on your prior visits.

The key point: data you enter in the apps is never sent over the network in the first place, so it never reaches Google. Advertising cookies deal with things like the pages you view — separate from what you type into an app.

You can learn how advertising cookies work and how to turn off personalized ads in Google's advertising policies. In some regions (such as the EU), Google may show a consent message for advertising cookies as required by law.

4. Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as which pages are viewed and how often. This is for statistical analysis and does not identify you personally.

5. Information we don't hold

As noted above, app content stays on your device, so we hold none of the data you create or enter in the apps.

6. Contact

A contact channel is being prepared. Once it's set up, any information you send will be used only to handle your request, and we'll list it here.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be revised as needed. We will announce significant changes on this page. The last-updated date is shown at the top.
