A few requests and terms for using codinganyway and its apps.

1. Data management and backups

The apps we publish today have no server and store data in your browser, on your device. That's by design, to protect your privacy. Note that when you explicitly choose to — for example by creating a share URL or exporting — your data leaves your device to that extent (see the Privacy Policy). Data saved on your device can be wiped by the following:

Clearing your browser's browsing data or site data
Using private / incognito mode
Changing or resetting your browser or device

For anything important, export it regularly using the app's export features (JSON / image / share URL). We cannot recover data once it is gone. Please understand this in advance.

2. No warranty

We build this site and its apps as carefully as we can, but we can't guarantee the accuracy of any results or information shown, or that they'll always be available. Please verify what you use on your own responsibility.

3. Limitation of liability

As a free tool offered by an individual, we accept no liability for damages (including data loss) arising from its use or any problems with it, to the extent permitted by law. By using this site and its apps, you agree to this.

4. Ads and external links

Some pages may contain third-party ads (such as Google AdSense) and links to external sites. We can't vouch for the content or services of those third parties. For how ads and cookies are handled, see the Privacy Policy.

5. Open source

Our apps use several open-source libraries. The copyright notices and full license texts for each are listed on the Licenses page.

6. Prohibited use

Please don't use the site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation, or to infringe the rights of others.

7. Updates to these terms

We may revise this from time to time as needed. When there's a significant change, we'll note it on this page and update the last-updated date at the top.
