Combine

Total things up Three values and one Σ card. Change any value and the total follows. See the shares The same three values, read as shares of a whole: a Σ card for the total and a pie chart for the split. Weighted average A plain average and a weighted one, side by side. Skew the weights and watch the two drift apart. Split by ratio Split 100 in the ratio 2 : 3 : 5. However you change the ratio, the three parts always add back up to the whole. Compare

Before and after One pair of values (80 → 100) read three ways at once: difference, ratio, and percent change. Ups and downs Start at 100, then add +30, −20, +10 — a waterfall chart shows each step and where you land. Two cases The same formula built twice with different inputs. A Δ card reads the difference between the outcomes.

Move

Move one number Drag the slider x and three cards — x×2, x², x÷2 — follow it together. Two dials Two sliders, x and y, feeding x+y, x×y and x÷y at the same time. Distance to a goal Now (x) and the goal (g) side by side, with the remainder g−x and a gauge. The goal is a card too — 80/100, 450/500 or 7/12 alike. Repeated growth Increase 100 by r% repeatedly, n times. The current value and the whole curve, side by side.

Draw

Move a line Two sliders drive a and b in f(x) = a·x + b — slope and intercept, each with its own dial. Move a parabola Three sliders drive the coefficients of f(x) = a·x² + b·x + c — each coefficient’s role becomes visible. Put points down Three (x, y) pairs on a scatter plot.
