Two dials

Two sliders, x and y, feed x+y, x×y and x÷y at once. Move just one of them and the three formulas respond in three different tempers.

Try moving it

Park y at 1 and move only x — × and ÷ stay identical. Multiplying or dividing by 1 changes nothing.
Make x equal to y — ÷ pins itself to 1 while + and × keep climbing away.
